Shujaa Healthcare Services is a licensed group home facility located in the state of Delaware, committed to providing high-quality, person-centered care to our clients. We are confident that our strong values, dedication, and compassionate approach will help us grow and become a model group home in the state of Delaware.

Our home is thoughtfully designed and equipped with the accommodations needed to provide comfort, safety, and security. We strive to create a warm, homelike environment where individuals can feel respected, supported, and empowered to thrive and enjoy meaningful, fulfilling lives.

We provide support services that assist our clients in completing daily living activities and developing greater independence. These services include assistance with personal care, medication reminders, meal preparation, scheduling and attending appointments, transportation to work or day programs, budgeting personal funds, and maintaining social connections. We also encourage community engagement by supporting activities such as grocery shopping, dining out, meeting neighbors, participating in civic responsibilities, exercising regularly, and enjoying recreational and personal interests.

Our Story

Shujaa Healthcare Services was established with a clear and unwavering purpose: to provide high-quality, person-centered care for adults with developmental disabilities. Founded by Dr. Damaris Mose, David Mose, and James Njenga, the organization was built on a shared commitment to dignity, safety, and meaningful support for every resident we serve.

The founders recognized a growing need for residential environments that go beyond basic care—homes that offer stability, respect, and opportunities for personal growth. Drawing on their combined experience in healthcare, leadership, and community service, they envisioned a group home where individuals with complex needs are valued, understood, and empowered to live fulfilling lives.

From the beginning, Shujaa Healthcare Service has focused on creating a structured, compassionate, and professionally managed home environment. Our approach emphasizes individualized support, open communication with families and care teams, and adherence to the highest standards of clinical and residential care.
